To me, The X-files movie didn't quite work. Try to look at it as an outsider. You got alien conspiracies, shadow government types, killer bees, etc. Kinda weird. It works as a tv show, but has a harder time as a movie. Despite this, I'm still recommending. It's a treat for any sci-fi fan.
